Public Relations

The department has been functioning since the formation of Madhya Pradesh in 1956. Earlier the name of this department was the Information and Publications Department, which was changed to Public Relations Department in the year 1984. The Public Relations Department acts as an important link between the government and the public. The main responsibility of the Public Relations Department is to disseminate information about government policies, decisions, plans, programs and achievements to the people through the media.
